Joffrey Texas is not a dance school, we provide supplemental opportunities for students and studios. In addition to our seasonal experiences, Joffrey Texas offers coaching, choreography, and private technique lessons. Studio owners and parents can contact us at email@example.com
The Joffrey Texas dress code should be similar to the requirements at your home studio. No costumes will need to be purchased.
Ballet and similar classes:
Female Identifying: Plain black leotard. Convertible pink/skin tone tights. Pink/skin tone ballet shoes. Pink/skin tone pointe shoes if applicable.
Male Identifying: White, grey, or black shirt. Black or grey tights or leggings. White socks and white ballet shoes, or black socks and black ballet shoes.
Non-Binary: White, grey, or black shirt. Black or grey tights or leggings. White socks and white ballet shoes, or black socks and black ballet shoes.
Contemporary, Jazz, Modern and similar classes:
All Dancers: White, grey, or black shirt. Black leggings, or black slim fitting athletic pants, or convertible black tights.
Logos, prints, and large graphics are discouraged and should be kept to a minimum.
An audition is required for all students looking to attend the 2022 summer programs. In-Person, Virtual, and Video auditions are taking place and accepted this spring. Learn more HERE
Payment for seasonal experiences are made online.
For those attending in-person events, Joffrey Texas will address each case individually and come to an agreement with the student if they must leave early or arrive late.
Refunds will be granted if an event is cancelled by Joffrey Texas. A credit for a future event will be given if a student is unable to attend.
Joffrey Texas strongly recommends leaving unnecessary devices at home and is not responsible for loss or damage. Over night students will be required to check their devices at the start of the program. Opportunities to connect with family and friends outside of the program will be provided regularly.
When a student sustains an injury the student's emergency contact is informed immediately. If Joffrey Texas must transport a student to an emergency room, students will be taken to Methodist Children's Hospital.
Joffrey Texas takes all medical, allergy, and dietary needs seriously. Our staff is given step by step instructions on how to act in case of emergencies. A meeting with the student, parent/guardian, and Joffrey Texas staff can be arranged upon request. When registering your student, be sure to give us complete and detailed information on these needs.
